2008: Greening Business: Employability and Sustainability (Robinson, Keele) : Higher Education Academy (UK)

This project developed an online resource package of materials for the delivery of linked sustainability-employability skills within the undergraduate curriculum. There is increasing pressure from government and clients for all organizations to address their environmental and sustainability responsibilities. Many organizations are now beginning to investigate ways to address these responsibilities, whether to comply with changing environmental legislative requirements, to reduce costs, to move into new markets or to meet existing clients’ demands. Hence, organizations across the public, private and voluntary sectors are now looking for graduates who can help them adapt their policies and practices to meet these sustainability objectives, making sustainability literacy a growing area of employability skills, with an increasing number of environmental management roles throughout all sectors.
