ANUgreen is the ANU's award winning environmental management program, run by the Facilities and Services Division. Program staff work to reduce the University's environmental impact by implementing the University's environmental management plan (which is overseen by the Environmental Management Planning Committee) and other University environmental management commitments.

It is not simply a group for students of environmental disciplines, although the involvement of these students is highly valued. The Collective is the main group at ANU for all students interested in engaging with environmental issues. It aims to promote environmental awareness on campus and to facilitate engagement with environmental issues and campaigns.

The Green Office program is delivered using an accredited unit from the Diploma of Sustainability, staff are required to develop and implement a change program within the workplace.
The University’s GreenSteps Internship program provides training to students in environmental auditing and corporate reporting. The students then provide a one off audit and report to a department or business unit.
